The words of mouth can’t always match the feelings of heart. Mainly because, as humans, we try so hard to communicate and end up less connected than before. That’s why our hearts are so shielded, so restricted. We find little truth dancing among the lips of the ones we love that it’s convenient to swim around in the lies that are created. Society has broken us; warped us into her following. We try more to impress everyone around us, fearing the possibility they won’t accept us. What we disregard is that it’s as crucial as ever to follow our own intuition, our own hearts. Who cares if someone says you’re weird? It only proves your loyalty to your REAL soul. My little cousin once asked me what normal was. I told her, “It’s just a setting on the dryer, honey.” And that’s the truth society hides from us all.
